Giulio Palermo joined LALIVE in 2012 and is a member of the international arbitration team, specialising in international commercial, investment and sport arbitration. He has been involved, as arbitrator, counsel or secretary, in over thirty international arbitration proceedings conducted in English, Spanish, Italian and French. Giulio Palermo is currently President of the Italian Chapter of the Club Español del Arbitraje and co-chair of the Club Español del Arbitraje below 40. Previously, he has been co-chair of the Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR (2015-2016) and regional representative of the Young Arbitrators Forum of the ICC (2014-2016). Giulio Palermo has lectured in international arbitration for the Master in Business and Company Law at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome (2017), the IASC in Madrid (2017) and the LL.M. in International Trade Law at the University of Turin (2015) as well as in administrative procedural law for the Master in “Organization and Functioning of the Public Administration” at La Sapienza University in Rome (2008).
